Since the Boxing Day Floods on 2015, there has been a lot of work going on in Mytholmroyd, mainly in order to improve flood defenses. There have been traffic lights, one way systems, diversions, and queues. All this work is coming to an end soon, but we advise you to walk, cycle or use public transport to the festival events.
Getting to Mytholmroyd by public transport.
Mytholmroyd is well served by buses and trains. The train station is in the centre of the village and only minutes away from any of the venues. Click here to see train time table.
There are several bus stops in the village and frequent buses.
There are taxi services in nearby Hebden Bridge.
There is limited car parking space on the road side, at the Mytholmroyd train station and outside St Michael’s Church (not always available). We recommend parking in the car park outside
