Yes, the administration fee is payable by all artists.

Is there a maximum or minimum size limit for works to be submitted?
There is no minimum size limit, but the maximum size of work, in its largest dimension including frame, is 85cms.

I would like to put forward a piece of work that was created over 2 years ago, would this be acceptable?
No, only works produced within the last 2 years are acceptable.

I do not have digital images of my work, what should I do?
We are trying to encourage all applicants to enter online in order to reduce our paper usage and speed up the application process. However, if you are unable to process an application online, please contact the organisers of the Open Exhibition, via open@mytholmroydarts.org.uk for further details about postal entries.

What resolution should my images be?
Ideally all images should be 300dpi but with a maximum file size of 1MB and between 1000 x 3000 pixels resolution; min 1000 x 1000 and max. 3000 x 3000 pixels. Only JPEG file formats are acceptable.  Each image file must be named with your surname, first name and brief title e.g. SmithJohn_WinterTrees.jpg. When will I hear if I have been shortlisted?
All artists will be notified by Friday 20 September 2019 if they have been selected for exhibition. If you have not heard by this date unfortunately your work has not been accepted.  Due to limited resources, we will not be able to give feedback on the reason for your work not being selected.
