Mytholmroyd Open Exhibition 2019 – information for visitors

On 19 & 20 October 2019, the third Mytholmroyd Open exhibition will feature work by artists from Calderdale and further afield. It will be held at St Michael’s Church Hall in Mytholmroyd, West Yorkshire as part of the third Mytholmroyd Arts Festival. The work
on show will be selected for exhibition by a judges panel, made up of local artists Moira Benoit and Francis Charlton . There will also be a prize for the People’s Winner, judged by a People’s Vote during the exhibition.
Also on exhibition during the Mytholmroyd Open will be work by Calder High School pupils, which has been selected by the school and entered for the Mytholmroyd Young Artist competition. The winners in KS3, KS4 and KS5 categories will be selected by a  People’s Vote during the Exhibition.

Opening times:

Saturday 19th October, 1pm–6pm (welcoming speeches at 1.30)
Sunday 20th October, 12–4pm (prizes announced at 3pm)
At 3pm on Sunday 20 October, the judges will announce their winner, who will be awarded the judges prize of £200. The winners of the Mytholmroyd Open People’s Vote and the Mytholmroyd Young Artist Competition will also be announced (prizes to be confirmed).
